The importance of safety
At Linde, we have a strong sense of product stewardship. Our aim is to protect not only your assets, but also your employees and the surrounding countryside and community. All fumigants carry certain risks as they are poisonous if inhaled. It is therefore imperative that they be handled and dispensed in strict accordance with the directions for use.
In addition, fumigators must be trained in the proper use of required detection devices, emergency procedures and safe dosing, application and handling of the fumigant in question. Fumigators must also hold appropriate state/territory licenses for fumigation.
Helping you achieve your safety goals
Our safety specialists are there to advise and support you on all compliance issues. They can visit your workplace to identify risks, make assessments and offer recommendations for a safer workplace. This can be delivered in the form of safety workshops, for instance. You can also rely on us for face protection, protective clothing and footwear or other safety equipment.
To ensure our customers are fully informed of their responsibilities and the potential hazards of fumigants, we provide extensive safety information. These include a product stewardship guide, applicator training materials, product-specific safety labels – outlining general instructions and directions for use – technical bulletins, and material safety data sheets containing additional information.
